The Don Con

In an attempt to rejoin my previous life after a long period of doing... nothing but recovery, I am returning to reading. I still cannot sit and read for hours like I used to do, but that's not good for me anyway. That's why some genius put iPad holders on ellipticals, right?

Author Richard Armstrong recently reached out to see if I would be willing to read an ARC of his new book, The Don Con and I accepted the challenge!

To sum it up: If you like mafia or acting related plots, get it! It's hilarious!

Below is my Amazon Review:

"I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for my review.

"This book was hilarious! I was skeptical about reading it as the author presented it as similar to "Gone Girl" which I hated. I felt more of a connection to "Get Shorty" while reading this book.

"The book is funny, interesting, and carries a plot of revenge unequivocal to any other book I've read in this genre. The payback is imaginative and the jabs at pop culture and the acting industry provide many giggles. I truthfully enjoyed reading this book, and I highly recommend it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the mild editorial issues. I'm glad the author reached out to me. It is not a waste of time or money and is sure to entertain any fan of mafia related books/ shows and even those who follow various fan conventions!"
